Hope your Saturday has been great FUN! I created this card for the Verve blog challenge. They are doing an extra sketch challenge to kill time before the big release party tomorrow night.(I CAN"T WAIT!) I love the sneek peeks they have given us! Amazing STUFF! This one was fun, and I actually used a new DSP I got on sale yesterday...GOTTA love a good sale!!!

Today we went and set up deer feeders and cleaned up trees at a little place we will hunt this coming season. (Only about 25min from the house, thank goodness!) DH could do that stuff all day everyday. :-* But it is really pretty there and I do like to spend time with him. Our Grandaughter always has a great time when we do stuff like that, cause she lives in "town" and never really gets to the country till she comes and stays with us. Its fun to watch a child discovery the true beauty in nature.

ITS FRIDAY!!!!!

Hello girls! I have been really busy today. My Grandaughter is coming in tonight, so I had to finish up her room...I finally got it finished and cleaned up. So excited she will be here with us for a week for her Spring Break. She is a real cutie. (8 YO) Really I am only 41, not 42 till August! My son just had her VERYYYYY early, but she really blesses my life. 

Anywho, I have also been cleaning and organizing my craft room somemore...I PROMISE I will post before and afters very soon. It was a mess to say the least, I can actually get some stuff done now! I wanted to share the card I did for the Viva La Verve week 2 March sketch challenge. I think it turned out pretty cute...what do you think? 

More later Friday Night Lights is on...must go watch (DH has gotten me hooked on this!)

HELLO! Did you think I was lost??? SOMETIMES I WONDER!!!

But, no I have been busy in my stamping room. Not to mention with 15yo DS. GRRRR. 

Anyway, I want to share some stuff I worked on yesterday and this morning, between taxi runs that is LOL 

I created this journal for a Secret Sister in Christ swap I am in. It turned out really well I think, there is also the pen, the bookmark and the card that all match. (also pictured is the inside which I created pockets on)  I am also going to use this card for MOJO Monday (Verve sketch challenge). Now back to create somemore...I will be back later!

TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday all. Well, this morning I worked on a couple of cards. One is for a fellow SCS'er who is not feeling well. Notice both are made with the same papers, cause when I get started I might as well use what is on my desk. I have to go to the PO here in a bit...and I have TONS to mail...good grief! I have a mirgrane (wondering if it was caused by sinus) and this dumb cough is hanging on...but other than that doing good. Hoping to go for a walk today if the headache gives in! I also bought some hand weights, 5LBS each...so maybe I will use those as I walk. Mrs. Dorothy (adopted Gma) made a comment about her arms being BAT WINGS the other day, and that got me thinking...I DO NOT WANT BAT WINGS! LOL

As promised a few cards from today...

Ok, I promised some posts this evening. Here are a couple of cards I did today. The first one I did for my Sister's Grandaughter's. She got custody of 2 of them and me and Moma M are sending them a box with a few things. They are 6yo and 17mths. Sweet.

The other card is for the Verve MAR01 challenge on SCS. The twist this week was BUTTONS.....First time I have done a challenge for them. :-)

Hello my friends! Well, I would post all the fun things I worked on this weekend, but can't yet, cause most are for some Secret SISta's, and some of them check here :_)

I had a busy Weekend....we went to my dad's on Saturday (they live on a 3700 acre Ranch), and Moma M is having a little party on Tuesday with 20 ladies coming, so DS and DH worked on the yard, repaired a few things, while I cleaned and polished all the wood floors (that house is HUGE!), but it always feels good to do somethin for someone you love. My Dad is older (78) and not in good health and Moma M (she is my step-mom, but really a Mom to me) is 20 years younger, but works her tail off taking care of Dad and making sure these years are his best. So to give back to them is always so refreshing. 

Then yesterday, I worked in the stamp room all day!!! YEAH! Except Dh is still in the middle of remodeling that bathroom, so he was coming to "show" me stuff all day LOL! I will be glad when the bathroom is done, so DS can go back to his bathroom, teen boys are just nasty! LOL

I will post some stuff today, I promise, may be late though...running errands most of the morning.
