Happy Happy Monday!

Good Monday morning all!

Today is a Monday...glad there is only one day called Monday! I am already rushing and I have been up since 5am!!! Good grief! This will be a quickie post, as I have to take a poodle (not one of mine!) to the vet.

I am showing off one little piece I made for a "Faith Gift" swap I was in on SCS today. This is part of the set...This is a wood magnet and I love how it turned out. Stay tuned the rest of the week to see all of the pieces of this cute set. I got these wooden magnets at IKEA, and then just decorated away! It was a great deal, as they where like $2 for a pack of 3, and will make great little gifts for Teachers, friends, hair stylist, etc... :-)

Happy FIRST day of school & Monday!

Good morning bloggers!
Well, today is my sons first day of school, as a Junior in HS! :0! Now I am going to cry...he has not been in a public school in many many years. But today he begins a new adventure! WOW and Mom is a big BABY! LOL

Anyway, here is a card I created last week, I made 8 of them...for my Forest swap on SCS. They turned out pretty cute and I love the embossing...looks real elegant!

180 FT in the air-DROP at 70-80 MPH AMAZING!

OK! I know its been a week! UGH! I have been going going going!

So today I am going to show you what my son got my for my birthday...(Its Monday the 17th :-)) Anyway, we went to the water park last week...had a great time...

I have not mentioned it in the past, but I love love to para-a-sail! I used to do it a lot years ago, when I was young. Well my sweet husband, James, NEVER lets me do anything remotely close to that or skydiving...which one day I want to do as well! :-)

Anyway, I called him and said please please please can I drop 180FT at 70-80 MPH through the air and swing over the waterpark...Jory and Sophie will be with me!!! He said "if you get sore or hurt, I dont' want to hear complaints!" But go ahead!!! SO I DID! and I LOVED IT!!! It was a blast. Here are the pictures of us!!!

Good Sunday Morning everyone!

I hope today finds you rested and relaxed! :-) I worked on these little goody boxes yesterday for 3 nephews Birthday's! We attended one of their homes and had a little BBQ and enjoyed visiting with two of their babies (2 years & 1 years). The other nephew is not married and just turned 20, so he is a lot of fun. He actually went to the coast with us a couple of weeks ago...great guy!

Any HA...I made 8 dozen Peanut Butter cookies and filled these babies up for them! I feel sure these where the perfect gift for 20 something guys! LOL

I love these little Picnic Baskets, they are from Papertrey Ink, they are part of the My Timeless Templates, by Lauren Meader. She is fantastic with these type of templates and I just love love love them!!

I made these all different with cards to match each, that way each guy felt special! Lauren gives the template for handles too, but I opted for ribbon this time...I have so much ribbon! LOL

Good SATURDAY my friends!

Thank you all so much for your words of encouragement for my Dad. He was able to go home last night (finally got there at 10:00 PM) He was really really worn out and had to go home with a catheter. Not the best thing in the world, but at least he was able to go home. He rests much better there and can eat good food! :-) Praise be to our Lord that he made it through surgery and is on the road to recovery. Thanks again to all of you who prayed for him.

Today I have a little goody to show you. I am in a swap on SCS, which was a theme bag swap. Everyone has different themes. The one I choose was Spa/Beauty/Health. I will be filling these bags with lotion, soaps, some stamped images, some embellies that go with the theme and some other goodies that will help one RELAX! :) These where really fun to create. I used some razzleberry DP from SU, my big shot to textures the purple paper, my cricut to cut the word RELAX, and my Daisy Bella image front and center. I also used her to create the little tag for the bags as well. It was a 2 +1 swap, which means I create 3. The hostess keeps one and I get 2 different ones back! Can’t wait to see what I get back!

Prayers for Dad!

Hello all my online friends.

Please be in prayer for my dad in the morning. I am driving to San Antonio in the morning at 5AM to be there for his surgery.

He is having a complete shoulder replacement. He really hurt his shoulder a couple of months ago. Please lift him up in prayer...Thanks...I will be back to show you some goodies very soon.

Had a great time at the beach!
Wish I could get rested quicker...I am still "livin on Island Time" *wink* *wink*

I am going to share a few pictures from our time on the island, my sister-in law and brother-in-law surprised us on Friday night, so that was very cool. We had planned on them going too, but they had to back out a few weeks ago....however, they were able to join us after all the last 2 days, so that was nice.
