30 min. Card Challenge from Fun Frilled

Well, here is just a little something for a late evening. This is a card I did for the Fun Frilled girls. They are giving away some great BLOG CANDY, but you better go check quick, cause its over VERY soon!

This is my 30 minute card (really like 19 minutes), I created this quickie from scraps on my desk. It was quick, but it turn out OK, I think if I had not been trying to use all the scraps on my desk, I would have used white for my little girl swinging...but I used what I had to make it easier.

Have a great evening...more tomorrow ;-)

Day before FRIDAY! :-)

Good morning and wishing you a wonderful day! I don't have a project I can share with you just yet, but there will be several in the next two days.

I have been working on some challenges and things, as well as some swaps...so there will be lots! As well, I MUST **wink** go to Archiver's tomorrow, because its the KICK off of National Scrapbook week! So that means some fun projects for FREE and some FREE stuff!

Hope this Thursday is great for you...enjoy today, it will be gone before you know it!

ta ta for now!

Good evening all!

Hope today has been a bright one for each of you! :-) Me, well lets see, dark and rainy but bright inside my stamp room this afternoon. I worked at the church this morning, then came home and playing on the net, only to realize I had the WRONG date on one of my swaps!!! AHHHH!

This one is a LOTW swap for Spring/Easter words.
What that means is you create one letter in a word, then decorate it like you want, others choose other letters of the word, then everyone mails to the HOSTESS of the swap and she takes each letter, completes the word with each submitted letter and sends the word back to you. I have really gotten some gorgeous words. These are great for scrapbooks or to frame as a gift.

So the words I chose for this swap where "FLOWER", "PUDDLES" and "GARDEN". So here is my E for Flower, my U for Puddles and my D for Garden. When I get the sets back I will post again so you can see!

Enjoy your night...and check in tomorrow, because I am working on some more goodies! NIGHT!

A wonderful "SONday"!

Hey gals, hope you have all had a super blessed day! I would have to say today was one of the best days we have spent in a longtime.

We attended our Sunday school which was a fantastic discussion today, then James and I had the nursery (2-3 year old's) they are a hoot! We also had a couple of kids who are a little older, but honestly there where two of our favorite boys in the world in there so that was great fun! Back home for a little while, then back for Awana kids catch-up day (praying they all finish their books!) Then to the evening service.

After our evening service we got to celebrate one SPECIAL, PRECIOUS little girls birthday, Emma Grace! She is the daughter of some dear friends and one inspirational little princess with an awesome testimony already! So all that to say, I have been working on a super special card for her for several days! Yes days! LOL

I made this little card and the bag to match for her. I have her picture posted her as well, so as you can see she is quite the princess!
Hope you enjoy your night...we are supposed to be getting some storms :-/ Hopefully just some rain...night!

Terrific Tuesday!

Well I am on a marathon swap and sketch challenge. I have to have all the things on my list completed by tomorrow at 4:00! We are leaving for Chicago and I am a little rushed. I really think I am more concerned about getting all this fun stuff done than I am about packing!!! Hey I might be the "bag looking lady" walking the streets of the windy city on the news! But all my swaps and sketches will be done! HA!

OK here is a sketch for the Verve release party week. There are four...I have completed this one!

Then the other card is the challenge for the Viva La Verve challege, week 3. It was tough this week, the twist was to use Baja Breeze, Mustard and Sunshine...that was really hard!

Hope you enjoy these, more to come...

Enjoy your evening...I will be in my craft room...and maybe packing some! LOL

Some fun blog candy!

Everyone run over and check out Max's blog. She is having a fun little board game and blog candy to boot!

MONDAY EVENING

Hello stampers and friends!

I pray each of you had a blessed and relaxing Easter Sunday!

Ours was VERY busy...we had some good food though and friends and family over. The day started with storms, but we were really blessed that by noon the sun was shinning and it was gorgeous outside.

I am going to share some of the Easter decor I made first. I made these little boxes with my Sizzix Big shot, then filled each one with 2 lifesavers (I announced to everyone after our prayer that I choose lifesavers, because Jesus is our life saver...pretty stinkin smart I thought! LOL)

Next here is the card I made for my "I love the Beach Swap" over on SCS. Now I just need to get these things in the mail tomorrow, or Sam may come find me! LOL

May you each have a wonderful Monday evening....I REALLY need to go pack for Chicago now, Jory and I leave out on Thursday morning and come home Saturday.

Happy GOOD FRIDAY!

Well its Friday! and it's GOOD FRIDAY at that! Today...as everyday should be...the day we remember Jesus sacrifice on the cross for us all. May each of you have a wonderful and Blessed Easter Weekend...and remember, HE IS ALIVE!

Now onto my cards for today, the Happy Easter card was for my Dad and Moma M, I really enjoyed creating this one...I like the way the embossing on the cross turned out.

The next card I did for the Viva La Verve week 2 challenge...(last Friday's) This one really threw me for a loop! and to top it off, the twist was use a background stamp...here is what I came up with.

Hope you enjoy your weekend.

Happy Wednesday!!

Happy Wednesday! Well, it was a busy couple of days. I am working at our church while our Secretary is on vacation...lets just say, I am not used to being gone 9-1 everyday, but it has been lots of fun. We have a new pastor and I am getting to know him better. He is young and full of the spirit of God, and great new vision. He is our "interim" pastor for now, but has been an Associate for us for a while. I am really enjoying it.

Then yesterday, I took Jory (16 now!) to get his drivers licences, then to dinner last night. As you can see a photo of him and his Memaw...dinner at Cheddar's.

Today I have been working on Easter cards for my Awana kids. I teach the Sparks! I think they will love these, attached to their little goodies bags.

This last card I made using stuff I received in a "card" kit I got from one of my swaps, not my most favorite ever (my mojo went somewhere!), but I love the scripture. Have a great rest of the week. I am leaving after work tomorrow to go pick up my granddaughter in Abilene, for Easter...

so be sure to check back soon for more fun stuff!

TUESDAY - with a little Fun Frilled Mojo Monday!

Good morning! Yeah, I am finally posting today...it has been a week! Oh my! We finished up our trip to the Beach with our Son, and his friends. It was alot of fun...and today is his actual 16th birthday. WOW...WOW...WOW is all I can really say. He and I will be leaving for Chicago next week to meet his new Employers and start this journey of we call life for him. AMAZING stuff I tell ya!

Now on today's card. I created thos card using the Mojo Mondays sketch challenge (you should check it out!) and I also used Fun Frilled's (this girls Rock out some great cards) Easter theme. This card was a lot of fun, once I figured out the matching papers. This will be a good Easter card to send to my Mother. She will enjoy the colors and the Easter blessing.

Have a great Tuesday all!
