Monday evening...

One more post for today. I finished up my Fun Frilled challenge for this week...EARLY! Instead of waiting till Sunday! LOL They have some great blog candy over there...check it out and participate...they are some fun gals!

It's MONDAY!

Hello all! Hope you are having a great Monday! I have been working on the Mojo Monday Challenge this morning, and getting some cleaning done on the house. We are leaving on Friday so I would like to come home to a clean house, with no EXTRA laundry to do! Let me know what you think of this one. I like this sketch alot! I think I will be making more with this one.

Sunday...and Rest

Well, today has been somewhat slow. DH ate wayyyyy (Pancakes and syrup for breakfast, then within 3mins, about an hour later 7 candy peeps, and a carton of robin eggs!) to much candy yesterday and his blood sugar took a nose dive. He awoke this morning still sick to his stomach. So no Church for me, cause I needed to keep watch on him and make sure he was actually going to be OK. Very sad I was unable to go, I always enjoy Sunday. Oh well, I know the Lord understand goofy husbands who eat to much sugar!

As for me I have been cleaning on the craft cave and working on some cards for some special ladies in a swap I am in. The met their 10 loss goals (4 of them last week!) who hoo! So I created Aerobic Riley cards for them that say "Your a wonderful reason to celebrate." I have their little packages ready to go to the PO in the morning. I also made this other card for a special friend of mine. I love that scripture in Numbers.

Our Neice and Nephew-in-law came over today to get directions on taking care of the "poodles" and the baby calf while we are gone next weekend. We are taking DS to the coast for his 16th birthday. We usually take our poodles with us, but this time we are only going 2 days, so its just to rough for them and us for that short of time. Any who, here are pictures of their little boy with Copper (baby calf) too sweet. He just loved it!

Well, its Saturday...and quite busy today! We had our great-nephews Birthday party today. So that was fun! That is him in the picture with his Balloons and I had to put the picture of his cake, it was really cute!







I did get to do a few cards this evening. The two Birthday cards are for some friends of ours who are married, and believe it or not they have the same Birthday!















The other card I made just because that stamp was on my desk and so I had to use it. I feel sure I will find someone to give it.

Storms, DS and Cards

OH MY GOSH! It has been like forever since I actually posted what is going on! Ok, so DS is working on all his "tech" stuff. He got a super cool laptop last week, which all the tech friends from around the country pitched in and purchased for him. God works in mysterious ways I tell ya! We have really be blessed by getting to meet these major intellegent guys and hang with them online.! So this is a picture when the laptop arrived and he called his friend Dave. Also here is a post of the storm which blew in day before yesterday, it was really scarey looking!


Now time for Mom to get to do some fun stuff. I created 32 Birthday invites for my Great-Nephew this past week. I also created a Twinkle Twinkle birthday card for his 1st Birthday. I used the same colors at what his Mom & Dad had picked for the "pickup" theme with bright bluse and greens. I used this for this weeks Viva La Verve sketch challenge.I have been working on several swaps and will post them later.

WOW WOW WOW!

So much has gone on this week. I have not even updated...its been CRAZY! My DS (15...16 on April7th) Has met some great people from all around the Country...with one major player in Chicago! This guys has done AMAZING stuff for him already!

DS is a very smart computer nerd...and has an above average IQ. He has really wowed lots of these guys who are major players in the Tech Industry! Long short of it, they are mentoring him and he will do great things one day!

He is getting opportunies now that adults could only hope for. Please keep him in prayer (and ME! and his Dad) Here are some pictures of some of the AWESOME things he recieved yesterday.

More later...and I WILL be showing some work from this week too....I so need a CRAFT day! LOL

Hey peoples...hope this finds you all well. I have a few things to share with you this evening.

The first picture is from my March Scripture Swap...that one was fun to do. I like the colors the blues and greens. The second pic is of the Roldex Swap I completed and mailed this week, the back has my name, address, SCS name and birthdate on it. And last but not least is the card I created for Mojo Monday. Turned out sweet, I really liked this one when I was done. I have worked on stuff all week here and there when I could. I have had my Grandaughter all week, so we have had lots of fun, but crafting has taken a back burner! :-( ALSO, DH has been off work (rained out) for the last two days, so he believes I should go everywhere with him LOL, but thats OK...I go look at Deer riffles and all that guys stuff. He loves it...so off I go with him. Really its been a nice week, but the weather has been CRAZY. Beginning of the week were in the mid 80's and today it was 38!!!! Goodness! Hope to check in tomorrow, and planning on playing once everyone goes to bed this evening! :-)

Today started as a kinda slow dday. Not feeling great still...and we did not go to Church this morning! (That always messes my Sunday up...actually my whole week!)grr anyhows....

Hope your Saturday has been great FUN! I created this card for the Verve blog challenge. They are doing an extra sketch challenge to kill time before the big release party tomorrow night.(I CAN"T WAIT!) I love the sneek peeks they have given us! Amazing STUFF! This one was fun, and I actually used a new DSP I got on sale yesterday...GOTTA love a good sale!!!

Today we went and set up deer feeders and cleaned up trees at a little place we will hunt this coming season. (Only about 25min from the house, thank goodness!) DH could do that stuff all day everyday. :-* But it is really pretty there and I do like to spend time with him. Our Grandaughter always has a great time when we do stuff like that, cause she lives in "town" and never really gets to the country till she comes and stays with us. Its fun to watch a child discovery the true beauty in nature.

ITS FRIDAY!!!!!

Hello girls! I have been really busy today. My Grandaughter is coming in tonight, so I had to finish up her room...I finally got it finished and cleaned up. So excited she will be here with us for a week for her Spring Break. She is a real cutie. (8 YO) Really I am only 41, not 42 till August! My son just had her VERYYYYY early, but she really blesses my life. 

Anywho, I have also been cleaning and organizing my craft room somemore...I PROMISE I will post before and afters very soon. It was a mess to say the least, I can actually get some stuff done now! I wanted to share the card I did for the Viva La Verve week 2 March sketch challenge. I think it turned out pretty cute...what do you think? 

More later Friday Night Lights is on...must go watch (DH has gotten me hooked on this!)

HELLO! Did you think I was lost??? SOMETIMES I WONDER!!!

But, no I have been busy in my stamping room. Not to mention with 15yo DS. GRRRR. 

Anyway, I want to share some stuff I worked on yesterday and this morning, between taxi runs that is LOL 

I created this journal for a Secret Sister in Christ swap I am in. It turned out really well I think, there is also the pen, the bookmark and the card that all match. (also pictured is the inside which I created pockets on)  I am also going to use this card for MOJO Monday (Verve sketch challenge). Now back to create somemore...I will be back later!

TERRIFIC Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday all. Well, this morning I worked on a couple of cards. One is for a fellow SCS'er who is not feeling well. Notice both are made with the same papers, cause when I get started I might as well use what is on my desk. I have to go to the PO here in a bit...and I have TONS to mail...good grief! I have a mirgrane (wondering if it was caused by sinus) and this dumb cough is hanging on...but other than that doing good. Hoping to go for a walk today if the headache gives in! I also bought some hand weights, 5LBS each...so maybe I will use those as I walk. Mrs. Dorothy (adopted Gma) made a comment about her arms being BAT WINGS the other day, and that got me thinking...I DO NOT WANT BAT WINGS! LOL

As promised a few cards from today...

Ok, I promised some posts this evening. Here are a couple of cards I did today. The first one I did for my Sister's Grandaughter's. She got custody of 2 of them and me and Moma M are sending them a box with a few things. They are 6yo and 17mths. Sweet.

The other card is for the Verve MAR01 challenge on SCS. The twist this week was BUTTONS.....First time I have done a challenge for them. :-)

Hello my friends! Well, I would post all the fun things I worked on this weekend, but can't yet, cause most are for some Secret SISta's, and some of them check here :_)

I had a busy Weekend....we went to my dad's on Saturday (they live on a 3700 acre Ranch), and Moma M is having a little party on Tuesday with 20 ladies coming, so DS and DH worked on the yard, repaired a few things, while I cleaned and polished all the wood floors (that house is HUGE!), but it always feels good to do somethin for someone you love. My Dad is older (78) and not in good health and Moma M (she is my step-mom, but really a Mom to me) is 20 years younger, but works her tail off taking care of Dad and making sure these years are his best. So to give back to them is always so refreshing. 

Then yesterday, I worked in the stamp room all day!!! YEAH! Except Dh is still in the middle of remodeling that bathroom, so he was coming to "show" me stuff all day LOL! I will be glad when the bathroom is done, so DS can go back to his bathroom, teen boys are just nasty! LOL

I will post some stuff today, I promise, may be late though...running errands most of the morning.
