Good SATURDAY morn!

How has your week been? Mine has been just run run run! We did get good news yesterday at court for my Sister. She and her husband got custody of two if their four grandkids. The other gma got custody of the other two. This works best for these girls, cause they will all get to visit one another, yet get special attention too, which they all need. thanks for all your prayers for them. On to todays project...

I am sharing a little pouch today I created for a coffee/tea swap. These turned out very cute. I just love the pouches and inside are two tea bags tied together. Hope whoever gets um, will love them like I do.

Have a super Saturday chickies, I have to figure out how to clean around construction! LOL

WOW Its already Thursday!

OK you guys....I think I have last a day somewhere. Goodness! The Bathroom reno is going moving along nicely (see previous post for disaster info;_0). Been really busy the last couple of day. Leaving today to go stay the night with daddy and moma M. She and I are going to Abilene tomorrow for a little hearing for my sisters grandkids....anyhoo...

Here are some things I created for the MOJO Monday sketch, which is also a challenge over at Stampin out Alzheimers site. You should really check it out, you can get some free stuff, but also donate to a fantastic cause!

First is the challenge card, it is all SU paper and I also created this for an SU swap I am in, so I made 8 of these bad boys! :-} WOO!

Today I am showing you a "WIRED" tag I made for a swap I was in. The challenge was to make a tag, the twist, use wire as an embellishment somewhere. I really love how these turned out, they will be very cute tied to a package or even on a card!

I hope you all have a fantabulous weekend planned...lets just say our bathroom problems (leak leak leak) are WAYYYYYY worse than expected. It not only has ruined the BR floor, but also the one in my craft room!!!! Can you say FRUSTRATION! and more $$$$$$! But on the bright side, my room will get painted and the floor redone...

This is a little card I made with the remaining "mushrooms" from the other day. Enjoy this one...I will be posting a grad gift and card a little later!

Hey ya'll!

Hope your Wednesday has been great. Mine has been...well lets just say its been! KWIM

My middle child DD (21) is acting a butt, and we are not speaking right now, so that always gets me down, cause I love her so. But hopefully she will come around. Also, I helped my husband finish the remodel on DS's bathroom...lets just say carpentry and plumbing are not for someone who has bone and joint issues! LOL...ouch that hurt! :-0

OK, enough of that, this is CASED from a little card I saw the other night and just fell in love with. This is the card closed. The tutorial and info are on SCS, and it is so stinking easy you won't believe it!

These two projects I created last night and finished up this morning. I love how you can do what ever size you want with these digital images or sentiments. These two project where really easy peasy! The card is the Mojo Monday sketch...if you have never played along, you should, great challenges. The sentiment of course came from one of my most {{FAV}} companies offering digital sentiments only, its DIGIMENTS! If you have not already, go check them out today...I promise you they won't break the bank!

Digi Monday Mushroom

Well here's another little project full of skittles...darn I wish I could eat skittles.

I used a digi image stamp from Sweet & Sassy Stamps. It's so cute with the mushrooms and all. I hope you like this one, I am off to create some more. Stay tuned...

Red, White & Blue

OK, get ready...

I am working on several challenges today...so I may post more than normal...(hehe)

First up is the Fun Frilled challenge, for some VERVE stamps!(who hoo) I {heart} verve. The challenge this week is a red, white and blue one, with Memorial day coming up on us. I created this card for a friend of mine who is in the Army Reserves, she is a dear friend and thought she would like to get somethin in the mail box this Friday. Sunday Evening

Hello my crafty friends,
A quick post this evening...I have been working on swaps like crazy between everything this weekend, and trying to get my crafty room clean.

I just realized I had not posted the card for the Fun Frilled girls challenge, it's a friend card this week, with a VERVE prize...how fun is that!So I created this little card for that, for a friends birthday I am late sending! grrr I hate that, to be late on a bday card! I made it with the verve uplifting phrases and did a little embossing...she loves pink so I think she will like it.

Also here is the ATC for one of the swaps I finished up on Thursday and mailed out.

Thursday Prayer Journal

Happy Thursday!
Well, I have been very busy today. Finished a LOTW Swap from over on SCS, someone tell me WHY I signed up for 7 LETTERS! WOW! I finished them up...and they are out da door! My goodness! I have also been cleaning "at" my house, here and there. Not feeling terrific today...but the weather here is kinda weird!

What I have to show you today is a prayer journal I did for yet...another swap I did on SCS. I just finished it up and it is going to the post office in just a bit! My Secret Sister in Christ, wanted a prayer journal with light greens and corals, somewhat simple design. I used one of the NEW DIGIMENTS that just released yesterday from the inspiration collection. I love this, I could print any size I wanted!!! The sentiments are so clean and clear and I love the way it turned out here. The little butterfly at the top right, swings around too...thought that was special! ha!

Well, ya'll I have two more swaps to go finish, plus figure out "what's for dinner"? so I better move it.

NEW BLOG HEADER! & WOW Wednesday!

Mornin' everyone!

It's already Wednesday this week...WOW! I still have tons to get done. I just completed my mile walk for the day, feels pretty good. Busy busy day, AWANA awards tonight...I hate being on stage...grrr, but it is so worth it that all these children get recognized for hiding God's word in their hearts! I know from experience that it will come in handy in life! ;-)

Did you notice the new blog layout??? See that ROCKIN' header at the top????Guess who made that for me...nana nana nana...my friend Michelle, the digiments OWNER! She rocks socks! It is just gorgeous!!!!

Tuesday- REJOICE! Digiments and more...

Good morning all!

I have been busy busy working on swaps all day yesterday! But I had a great evening. My oldest son came over with his wife...it was good to see him, it's been a while. They live fairly close. but seems life is so busy sometimes.

Well the count down is on for my friend Michelle's opening of DIGIMENTS (Digital Sentiments get it! Ha! she is so cleaver). Here is a card I created with the FREE one she is offering right now. AND, if you create a card and get it linked by tonight, you get a chance to win all 26! That's right 26 in the new release tomorrow! What are you waiting for get over there!


Also, Today I am going to show you my 6X6 scripture page that I made for one of the swaps I do. Every month there is a theme (this month is rejoice), you create 8, send 7 and get 6 back (the hostess keeps one, and you keep one of your own.) These are really great, perfect for framing as a gift or do a whole set and put in a page protector as a devotional gift for a year, or do calender's or many other things too!

I got some new papers from Papertrey...and I love it! So I use that along with my new Big Shot, top note die from SU. The verse is from VERVE ( I {heart} Verve stamps.

What a great day!

Well, today has been a really great day! We (DH, MIL, & Me...DS was already there :-) went to my Moma M's & Dad's today. They live on a Ranch, far from any town....I mean FAAARRR! I love going out there, it is so peaceful.

As most you have heard me say we live in the country...but we still have neighbors, 5 acres away. They have NONE for atleast 7 miles! :-0 Anyway, Dad is a wonderful gardener and thier yard is always gorgeous! So we had t-bone for lunch, Moma M's son came down from Dallas and he sang some with his guitar. It was just very relaxing...OK enough of that, I could go on and on! LOL

I going to show you the little gifts I made for Moma M and my Moma (MIL)...they really loved them and inside where two small seed starter plants...they both loved those!

Ok, first was for Moma (MIL), she loves green & flowers. I created the box using Lauren Meader's, My Timeless Templates, which I won as blog candy from Dana, last week! WOO HOO I love this BOX!!! So many possibilites! The card is a flower pot pocket card...she loved it! I am going to enter this one in the "It's a GIRL THING" over at verve to win a gift certificate! Check it out here! You just have till Thursday the 14th! HURRY!

Moma M is a Red Hatter, so I had to make her a hat card, why did I not use red hatter colors you ask....I am a DORK, I was really sleepy when I was finishing it up so...thats my story! She still loved it anyway!

On our way home through the country side, I stopped to take a picture of this cactus in bloom...they are so pretty when they bloom!

So there you have it...a great day! Tomorrow is Church (I am wearing a gorgeous Corsage which Jory (DS) gave me today by the way) and hopefully some stampin.

Good Friday...Happy Mother's Day Weekend!

Well its been a few days, as I have been working on swaps like a wild woman...I will not be late on these. LOL

I will show you those goodies at another time. We are planning on relaxing most of the weekend, which sounds great to me.

The other day on SCS I have a friend who posted the cutest flower pot card, so I emailed her to get the details, and the pattern. She sent me a link back for the info...and ta da! Here is my flower pot card. This one is being mailed to my Mother (she is not well, mentally) so I opted for a bright colored happy card. This is my Mother's Day entry for the great stuff they are giving away over at Fun Frilled too, better check it out!

I am in the process of making two more (one for my MIL & SM) and will post those later, as I am taking a break right now...gonna get my house cleaned up....YEAH RIGHT!

I hope each of you share in Mother's day in one way or another, with your own Mother, someone who has been a Mother to you, a great friend, or your wife. This is a time to celebrate the women in your life. Love 'em up!

Good morning everyone!
Today promises to be a great day! I MUST get the laundry done and the house cleaned up, after Church this afternoon. I will go to our church for Sunday School, then shoot over to a friends Church, her daughter is being confirmed today! YEAH!
