Hope you all get to enjoy your Saturday doing just what you wanna do! :-)

Today we will be cleaning somemore, getting laundry done and getting packed for the coast! YIPPEEE! I am looking forward to laying on the beach for 4 days and doin nothin! *wink wink*

Today's little project is for a giftie swap I am in. Make 2 duplicates, get one back. A clipboard, note pad and matching pen. These turned out OK...I am still not in love with the newest SU incolor (the blue-green paper) But I love the DP I used so it adds the touch that is needed! I hope whoever gets this little set enjoys it.

You have a terrific day...and find the beauty around you!

WHOOT WHOOT It's Wednesday!

Good afternoon everyone!

ONE WEEK from today we leave for the coast!!!! I can't wait! If it has to be this hot, then let me be at the beach! :-)

Busy busy busy around here today. I finished up another swap. This one was fr clear Hanna stamps. I used Five Dresses set and colored with SU markers. I stamped memento ink (its does not smear like others) and then used some SU hardware I had to stamp the sentiment! I love these colors together and this set has some cute cute gals! Great for all kinds of cards!

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day and this evening!

Its a Monday...enjoy it

Hello everyone!

well Monday morning and things started off with a bang. Me and my teenager are going round as usual lately! GRRR. Anyway, it looks cloudy here today, please please please let it be rain! We really need it. At least a little to knock this dust out.

Today I am showing off a little bathroom stool I created for my granddaughter. Its so she can reach the sink to brush her teeth! :-) I purchased the little stool at Target in the dollar spot for $2.50...then I added a special touch to it. Hope you enjoy it and that your Monday is very productive.

Many Blessing to each of you!

Weekend Hello

Good Saturday evening!

Hello everyone. We'll I am just WHOOPED! We have had so much this week I have been unable to check out all my favorite blog, cruise through my SCS threads, or even clean my house! I am not sure why this week has been just dang *CRAZY*.

I am looking forward to next week slowing down some so I can do the things I enjoy a little! ;-)! LOL

I wanted to share a card I made for the picnic swap I am in over on SCS. I showed you one last week, but I actually took two spots in this swap, so this is the second creation. A good friend of mine (thanks Jen) let me borrow the stamp...I also copied her color scheme on this card. (she showed me one she was doing and I LOVED IT!) It was a lot of fun and I think they turned out really cute.

I pray each of you really enjoy your Sunday. We are "running" once again to my dad's so we can get a couple of things that must be done before he has his shoulder surgery done, completed.

I hope each of you spends the day with those you love and they know just how important they are to you...if not TELL THEM! ;-)

PS DIGIMENTS is doing thier big release this weekend...go check it out. Michelle has some great stuff!

tata for now.

Friday....Hey you

Good morning!

I have really missed posting this week. Sad things going on in our lives, one of my son's friends, family lost their 17 year old son and its really been a rough week. Please keep them in your heart and prayers.

On to other events, our Granddaughter went home for a couple weeks and will be back week after next. She will be with us one more week before school begins for her. We have hit a record 31 days of over 100 degree heat...not one I wanted for sure. We are 30 + inches behind on rain...but there is a chance this weekend! WHOOT! :-)

I am showing you today a card I made for a friend of ours who Retired from her 25 year tenor with the Military. She is a Family Nurse Practioner and a wonderful person at heart. I liked this little guy so much I made 8 more for my Jessica Lynn Originals Swap on SCS.

Hope you enjoy them....have a great day!

CHRISTMAS with 105 degree temps! SERIOUSLY!

GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING!
How has your summer been going? Ours has BEEN HOT! I know you have heard me say that but good grief...105 for the forecast again today...with no rain!

We are 30 inches behind on rain...we are really burning up here! WHEW its plain hot. I have been walking every morning with my neighbor, but we walk at 5:30 AM because it is 80 then....just cant do it when the sun is actually out!

OK, onto what I have been up to the last couple of days....I have been working on some challenge Christmas tags (hard to do this with 105 let me tell ya!) Anywho it was for a little challenge they have had over on Sweet and Sassy's Yahoo group...you can join the fun to, just join our group. So the 1st challenge was for Christmas tags. I used the Sweet and Sassy special digital image I received for placing an order, so place and order and you can get one too! You can not buy this one, just get it for placing an order! There will be new Christmas in July challenges all month on the group...

Secondly I created these two other cards using the new "Sweet as Pie digi" they added this month. I love this set, so versatile! Something I am loving about yellow and red lately, can you tell? LOL

You have a wonderful day and enjoy your summer months!

We have CLOUDS today! We need rain soooo badly, hopefully it will start and rain all day long...Not many times you will hear me say that, but we really need it right now!

I stayed up late again last night creating some cards to match some flowers Momma (MIL) made for me. She is going to start selling these, and let me tell ya they are adorable!!! Anyway, I love the way this card turned out....I created from a Sketch over at Sweet & Sassy's Sketch blog The Sweet Shop! You ought to go visit them, they have some great stamps as well!

Hope Monday is fantastic for you....pray for rain.

Happy July 5th...the day after the FIREWORKS!

Hello all...just relaxing today.

We went to bed REALLY late because of fireworks and Jory (16 yo DS) who stayed out late shooting fireworks with some friends on their place. James BBQ'd a brisket all night, and I made homemade ice cream, so that and some coleslaw Momma (MIL) brought over was our lazy day lunch. Tonight will just be left overs and snackin stuff and bed early...I am thinking! :-)
I created this card today playing around with a free digital image I got over on SNR for the DigiDay Festivities going on for this weekend. I made this using the Digi Shack Sketch too, so that gets me another FREE DIGI which I have not even seen yet, it hasn't been released yet....so I am looking forward to getting it next week. You can play too, BUT hurry! Its over tonight at 10:00 CST....

Have a restful Sunday Evening!

Friday Evening...late

Good late Friday evening! Whew! *sigh*(I just had to take a breath) LOL

Its been a busy busy day! Up and running to get AC fixed in my car (no AC in 103 just will NOT cut it for me), then home to clean up the 1/2 living room, 1/2 craft room (LOL)

yes we are still under construction...then off to Lowe's with DH to buy some more sheetrock! YES the bathroom is nearly complete. DH's hours have been pulled back from 60 hours per week, down to 30...so he should have lots more time to finish things up with the remod, and I can get my craft room back! ***HAPPY DANCE***

Well, I have a one of the pictures from the water park. We had a really good time. My Graddaughter was amazed! This one is my 16yrs old going across the rings and my Graddaughter standing at the ladder watching! I can not wait to see the look on her face when we go to Schliterbaughn! She had such a great time, and that is what matters!

This evening I am sharing a card I made for a very good friend of mine who was a Secrect Sis in a swap with me, this is the reveal card I made for her. Hope you enjoy it.

Have a safe and Happy 4th of July.
Remember all those who keep us free.

Blessings!

Happy Thursday...Its nearly the 4th!

Hello stampers! WOW, I was so sick yesterday, intended to post but....just could not do it! I am feeling much better today. I am off to take my granddaughter to a small water park that is close by. Its supposed to be 103 today, so it sounds like a great day to go.

I am showing you a swap card I completed for a fancy folds swap over on SCS. I love this fold, and the colors in this one really make me happy!

Also is the card I created for a sweet sweet lady at Church, who lost her husband of 51 years, and the funeral was yesterday. I did attend that "barley!" Bless her heart. Her daughter is also a friend of ours, and she is taking care of her mom now, so thats good.

Remember today, love those you are with, tomorrow is not promised! Till the next time have a blessed day!
